We are honoured to welcome Dr. Nazael Amos Madalla, Director of Aquaculture, Ministry of Livestock and Fisheries, United Republic of Tanzania, as a Distinguished Keynote Speaker at the 4th FAR4ViBE Conference 2026.

As Director of Aquaculture, Dr. Madalla spearheads Tanzania's national aquaculture development agenda, policy frameworks, and strategic investments aimed at transforming aquatic farming into a sustainable and resilient commercial sector. His visionary leadership bridges the gap between cutting-edge scientific research and pragmatic, grassroots industry practices.

His keynote address, titled “From Emerging Industry to Economic Powerhouse: The Blue Transformation of Tanzania's Aquaculture through Research and Innovation Towards Vision 2050 and Beyond,” will provide invaluable insights into how technological innovation, quality seed and feed production, sustainable cage and pond culture, and strategic private-sector partnerships can unlock the boundless potential of Tanzania's aquatic resources.

Dr. Madalla's presentation will also highlight roadmap milestones toward Tanzania's Vision 2050, outlining multi-stakeholder strategies that ensure food security, youth and women employment, environmental sustainability, and regional economic prosperity across Eastern Africa.
